Neil H. Borden in 1953 coined the term “marketing mix” and brought forth a market theory that would change the lives of every successful marketer today. This unique blend of product, place, promotion, and pricing strategies would help determine the success of an entire business. But on an individual level, Borden’s theory shaped the way I thought and worked at every job my entire life. I understood that Marketing came down to an individual level, the consumer.
